Meadowbrook Meat Market is rooted in farming, started in the 1970s. Primarily started as a hog farming operation decisions were made over the years based on the changes to the hog industry to transition from raising pork to transitioning into direct marketing of our pork in the early 1990s. Over the years to ensure that our pork is of top quality, flavor, and nutrition, we have been selective in how we raise, grow and feed our animals, Our markets have become a way of providing quality meat products to our community as well as supporting other local businesses by being able to sell their goods in our stores. Through our Wholesale business and home delivery service, we have been able to bring those same quality products to families throughout mainland Nova Scotia. Products including fresh cuts of pork, Atlantic beef, our own Jimmie dogs (hot dogs), our signature hams, and now even some non-meat offerings. We also deliver the other products we carry in our stores to our wholesale customers providing new opportunities to our partners.
